Have you been told in the past that you are not a good candidate for contact lenses? Then we may be able to help you wear contact lenses safely and successfully. Nowadays lenses come in many different sizes and curvatures.  At Crescent Heights Optometry, our Optometrists are experts at fitting single-vision, Toric (correct astigmatism), multifocal, and keratoconus contact lenses.

Medically necessary contact lens fittings for patients with corneal disease such as keratoconus or post-corneal transplants are often covered through most private insurance plans.

At Crescent Heights Optometry, we provide specialty contact lens fittings for the following:

  • Astigmatism
  • Dry Eyes
  • Presbyopia
  • Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis (GPC)
  • Keratoconus
  • Pellucid Degeneration
  • Post Corneal Transplants
  • Post-Refractive Surgery (such as LASIK)

Annual Contact Lens Exams

Once you've been fitted for contact lenses, an annual contact lens evaluation is required to ensure that your initial lens from a year ago still provides optimal health, fit, and vision. If your evaluation shows any modifications in your vision then the contact lens design and material may need to be changed to restore optimal vision, comfort, and health of your eyes. Even though your contact lenses may feel comfortable, it does not necessarily mean that they are still providing the best fit and health for your eyes.
